CHARACTERISTIC
Universal tools. Can be attached to the universal insulating stick (H010). The tool is controlled and
tested in accordance with EN 60832-2:2010.

APPLICATION
Live working up to 1000V a.c. and 1500V d.c. Pruning saw is used for the trimming of tree
branches near the overhead lines.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
The pruning saws should be properly stored to minimize the risk of damage due to storage or
transportation. These tools should be stored generally separated from other tools to avoid
mechanical damage or confusion. Tools should be prevented from excessive heat and sunlight. Use
a dry tissue to clean. When tool becomes strong soiled use suitable solvent to clean.
CHECK AND PERIODIC INSPECTION
Before use, each tool should be visually inspected by the user. An annual visual examination by a
suitably trained person is recommended to determine the suitability of the tool for further service.
The visual check shall be considered successful if:
o The tool (in particular the splined end) is free from defects,
o The marking is legibly and complete.
The operation test:
o Additionally, before use, each tool shall be inspected to check for correct function and fit.
Don’t use damaged, worn-out (cracks or deep scratches on splined end) or dirty tools in live
working. The tool which becomes wet must be dried before use.
